Newby here. Very helpful. Thank you.
thank u, on the machine as we speak 🎉
The instruction to land flat on the feet isn't quite right. You land first on the balls of the feet and then the heels rock back onto the ground. Try actually landing flat on your feet and you'll find you land too heavy and can hurt your joints.
Best damn tire flip tutorial on the web. Nice job fellas.
I always thought the damper was the resistance.
Failing to fix the feet firmly with the foot straps is very common with beginners. Results in pain in the anterior shin
So going forward without pulling my toes or feet is no problem. But the moment I stretch my legs I get a shock like something move forward and then suddenly the rope ends and SNOCK you get a little shock and move backwards a bit. That happens to my legs as well. Even when I go real slow, its weird. Also when I row without my feet in the straps its impossible to go backwards, my feet just scoot up the moment I want to lean back.
Wow. Your descriptions are extremely helpful...especially how to feel the machine.
Best advice I've seen as a beginner rower. Thanks.
Love this instructor!
Thanks for your sharing
Thank you, this video is what I was looking for, just ordered a rower.
OK, so they ARE called Reverse Sit Ups. I'm 80 and was experimenting with various stretching exercises. Very tight posterior chain. I can do regular situps fine. Not a lot of them but some. Then I started bringing my knees to my chest as I lay flat on the floor. It is harder and as my knees approach my chest it kindof hurts my lower back. So this is probably where all my back pain is coming from. I guess I've got to work (carefully) to stretch and strengthen my lower back muscles with these Reverse Sit Up exercises. It's amazing how many exercises attach to the lower back/pelvis area. It's no wonder so many people have so much back trouble.
Show esporte é sempre bom.
Great job!😊
Great Job!

Great job!
The feet out is great advice. Often I do full row sessions without feet strapped in. If you use good technique all energy will go into the machine and your feet won’t even move from their position at all
My wife and I are planning to get a Concept 2 to add to our fitness program. Great video .
I love the 'find the support beneath you' tool. It works so well and it is so so easy to practice anywhere. Thank you for sharing.
I've had my Concept 2 for a few years and this is by far THE best preparation video I've ever seen - just subscribed.
Does the number of calories on the machine correlate in any way with the damper setting? Does one use the same number of calories on any of the numerical damper settings?
What I never understood, is how people can work out, on a hard azz floor. I got 2 herniated disc's. Ish hurts like a mfers after a while.
Great information Thankyou
instructions on how to use a rowing machine?
Yes Thank You Very Much 🫶❤️
Love this lady. She is a great instructor
Separating out the specific parts and tools for each of the seven step assembly process steps was brilliant on the part of the manufacturer. For the price, I am impressed at how sturdy this ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxvObaTzoHoHQLL4lHbJQmExHqsrZQm-f7 unit is and it does go together easily. Well, I was puzzled at first at Step 5 and maybe the instructions should mention that rail #62 needs to be tilted upwards a little to get the rail to fit into the main part #44. I like it that the rower can be stored vertically in a really small amount of space, but be forewarned that this rower is top heavy and for safety you'll need at least two bungee cords to keep the unit upright, attaching them to something; in my case to a third garage door. I have had this unit only a short time, and I will post an update once I've had it for a year. As for working your legs, I have to admit that I'm mainly rowing for upper body strength and I use other forms of exercise for leg strength (like walking fast, biking, or using a trampoline. But if you pull as far forward as possible, then you can give preference to your legs for the first 4 feet or so of travel. I also admit to not taking the two electronic connectors apart at Step 7. I simply inserted the two batteries while the other parts remained connected. By the way, there is plenty of resistance here, even in the lowest resistance settings. Kudos to Sunny Health & Fitness !
Set up was easy. Easy to assemble. We use this with our app that we have and it works great. Would highly recommend
So nice to get a video without over explaining stretches. Thank you
Absolute perfection, thanks a lot!
Holy crap number 3 is a game changer. Thank you
I want to invest in concept 2 but afraid I will max out the resistance level. Does maximum level 10 offer a lot of resistance?
Butt cheeks
Fabulous. Thank you. Great Instructing!
If the resistance is determined by how I row, is the damper making it even harder or easier relative to that? Why cant anyone really explain it?
I just can't fold my forearms as much. Is there a fix for that? Edit: I just use a fingertip grip now, like Gabriel Sîncrăian.
@@Curling_Rack I think that would make racking the bar even harder.
No, I get excited because I know that my arms and abs will be toned 💪 whole body workout!
Try COZWEAT!!!!!
Shame their website does not work. It is a broken link.
brilliant, thanks
I’m 67 and I’m trying to build to bar muscle ups by starting with these
I just got a new rower and I’m looking forward to improving my health! Thank you for the tips. This is quite differ than rowing from a fixed seat like the fishing boats I have rowed.
I don’t get it. I’ve watched 20 videos trying to explain how the damper works vis a vis my pulling action. In every one we are told “don’t think of the number setting as resistance.” But then, we are told, the higher one sets the side numbers, it’s harder to row. Isn’t that “resistance?” We need to see just ONE video with the Concept 2 taken apart so we can see the chain working the flywheel, rather than someone pointing at the wheel casing and describing what goes on inside. That said, it’s clearly understood how the damper affects the air, which affects the flywheel. But this “resistance“ thing. I’m still at a loss.
Loving the loose feet drill! Fantastic explanation and demonstration!
Very Nice !
Too much creative bunch of malarkey to get to the point.
